Create Your own Fused Glass masterpiece

Glass fusing surprise’s people by how easy and fun it is to create a beautiful one-of-a-kind piece you can say you made all by yourself! We have a dedicated Glass Corner in the studio filled with beautiful colored glass and 30+ projects to choose from. Our cheerful and friendly staff will teach and guide you through the whole process. You can make several projects with glass fusing: glass candle votives, picture frames, coasters, sun catchers, large and small bowls, large and small trays or platters, night light, soap dishes, vases, wall or table display art, earrings or pendant neckless, spoon rest, decorative plates and more!

Our glass section is limited to 1 large group or 2 small group at a time, due to space. You are welcome to call ahead to check availability.

Glass Fusing

  1. CHOOSE YOUR PROJECT
    Choose a glass project to create.
  2. CHOOSE YOUR GLASS BASE
    Choose a base size and choose the color of glass; we have clear glass, which is the most popular, and white and black.
  3. CHOOSE YOUR GLASS ACCENTS
    You can decorate your glass base by gluing glass accents to it, so this is when you decide on a design. We have kids glass, colored glass pieces, frit, noodles, stringers, and strips. We even designer and dichroic glass available
  4. CREATE YOUR ART PIECE
    Simply glue layers of glass on your base to decorate it. Our cheerful and friendly staff will show you how easy it is to cut or break the class into desired shapes and how to best glue it to your base.
  5. PICK A SHAPE
    You can decide to shape (slump) your piece into a bowl, plate or dish. Slumping is an additional $9 or $14.
  6. LEAVE IT WITH US:
    We will fire your glass project in one of our 5 kilns and it will be ready for pickup in 7 days.

Kids Glass

We have a lot of kids glass to choose from. Kids glass is glass that has been fired once and all the sharp edges are rounded and smooth. This makes it kid friendly and we call it kids glass.

We offer kids glass fusing birthday party packages that are fun and safe and simple. We offer adult glass fusing party packages.

Firing Glass

We typically fire glass projects using a contour firing cycle in the kilns, which will fuse all the glass together into one solid flat piece. The glass pieces will have a slightly rounded, polished edge and slightly raised glass accents depending on how thick the glass was to begin with. If you desire a shape to your flat glass project, for example a bowl or vase, a slump fee is charged because the glass will be fired a second time using a mold to give it a shape.

Wine Bottle Snack Tray

Bring in your own wine bottle and create a one of a kind cheese or snack tray. We have a variety of flat or textured molds to choose from. We fire it and it’s ready for pick up in 7 days. Customers must clean bottle and remove paper before bringing in.
